So what can you do with a marquee?
First choose the style of marquee you would like to go with. You can choose between our vintage traditional tent or the more modern clearspan tent. There are a number of reason to go with each style of tent.
The traditional is great for that vintage inspired event with the wooden poles and ropes it needs very little decoration and becomes a great focal point. You can choose to line the tent with ivory pleated linings or keep it basic with its canvas roof, then finish off with various lighting techniques anything from chandeliers to uplighters or maybe your more inspired by festoon or fairy lights.
The Clearspan is a more versatile marquee with opportunities to link more then one tent together to create side rooms and other spaces to the main dining area. You can also be more creative with various types of windows and maybe even a clear roof or two for that true alfresco dining. This marquee can be used both lined and unlined. We use ivory pleated linings in our clearspan’s, however we also have the option to upgrade to black starlit linings if you want that true disco feel over your dancefloor. As with the traditional lighting options finish the look off.
So you’ve chosen your marquee, now what? You now need to choose if you require a flooring in your marquee. Depending on the event you may feel that grass is fine whereas other events may need to bring the marquee to the next level and need that extra coverage.
The flooring we offer is the same for both marquees. We offer Natural and Black coir matting, carpet in various colours and solid flooring with carpet on top. See a few examples below:
You now have your basic venue ready to start designing further or start decorating. You may choose to do this with furniture like chairs, tables and dancefloors, or with material items like hanging lanterns. We have various options and styles so decide which ones work best for your look.
You may find that your venue may also require toilets and a generator, we can provide this all for you.

Do you need an site visit or event consultation?
Event Consultation is a free service where one of our event managers will meet with you either at our Newick office, your choice of venue or at your home. We establish your event requirements and ideas and can discuss all options available to you from marquee decor to food and drink. We will then send out a free 30 day no obligation quotation of items suggested, allowing you time to mull over your ideas and costing’s with the opportunity to create exactly what you want in your own time, with no hard selling.
If you are booking a marquee over 12 months in advance we ask for a £100+VAT deposit to hold the date for you, we will then ask for a 30% deposit 12 months from your wedding date and the remaining the week before your event. Do not feel that what we discuss in the initial meeting has to stay at the same as we understand that ideas and numbers can change when planning an event of any size. This is why we ask for 30% deposit to allow you the freedom to continue amending your quotation until two weeks before your event.
